The Atlantic Rainforest is dense, colorful and has a lot of life! Is one of the most  biodiverse but endangered environmets of the world.

Ubatuba was one of the firsts areas who the colonizers meet when they arrive in Brazil, unfortunately cutting off part of the low lands forests. Currently these ares have became part of the Serra do Mar National Park, since over 40 years ago, protecting these lowlands forests and the mountain too.

Ubatuba have more than 500 species of birds and counting! from Crakes to Tanagers, Ubatuba is one of the best hotspots for birding in the Atlantic rainforest. ( you can check the Bird list of Ubatuba:

Reserva Fazenda Angelim

Angelim reserve is word wide know by the several species of birds and all kind of life that inhabits the very well preserved areas of this magical Rainforest paradise.

The main targerts here are the Buff-Throated Purpletuft (Iodopleura pipra) a endangered endemic of the Atlantic Rain Forest, and also the Slaty Bristlefront (Merulaxis ater).


A trully paradise for hummingbirds in SE Atlantic Rain Forest. Located into the hearth of Ubatuba, Sítio folha Seca is know wordwide, and despite hummings Sr. Jonas was a part attraction, with lots of histories and information.

The Corcovado mountain is the highest peak of Ubatuba, sorounded by amazing wildlife and breathtaking landscapes, However you must be prepared to a hight level trekking. 


For sure the best lodge in the low level Rain Forest. if you really like some wildlife and contact with nature this is the place for you, come to this etinerary to wake up by the sound of the flocks and watch the down in the deck with confort and nice species at the feeder.
